User Dashboard?

Hi,

we're currently looking at setting up a calDAV&cardDAV interface at my workplace to replace an aging system. I'm currently testing davis and others and am so far quite happy with how davis works. The one thing I can't quite get my head around it the Dashboard situation. Am I getting this right that for a user to share a calendar to anyone, they have to ask the admin user?

Is there no user facing Dashboard feature to allow the users to make their own new collections and share calendars with whichever person they like? I find this quite a problem, making every minor change require the "central" admin user. There is only one admin user after all.

Maybe I am missing something, but users can't login into the /dashboard interface and manage their own collections?

I'll mention we setup ldap user login and user are automatically generated upon visiting the /dav subdomain.

Knowing my users I think a user facing Dashboard would very much be needed. Maybe this needs to be considered a Feature request.

Sharing is done through whatever client your users are using. Same for delegation.

In macOS' incumbent client, Calendar, for instance, you can right click a calendar to share it. And there is a delegation panel in the settings too, in case you need it
