Impact of proposed new Node.js >=27 Release Schedule #2389
Description
PR nodejs/nodejs.org#8631 "Blog: Evolving the Node.js Release Schedule" proposes to change the Node.js distribution strategy to a new model starting with Node.js 27 Alpha in Oct 2026.

If the proposal is accepted, the node-docker repo would need to decide if Alpha releases are to be packaged as Node.js Docker images or not. There may also be other impacts as the model details evolve and as they are put into practice.
