flatpak ModrinthApp crashes on hyprland

What operating systems are you seeing the problem on?

Linux

Describe the bug

OS: Arch Linux
Session: Wayland (Hyprland)
GPU: RTX 3070
NVIDIA driver: 590.48.01
Flatpak version: 1.16.3
Runtime: org.gnome.Platform/x86_64/49

Issue: Launching modrinth via flatpak results in the following error:
ERROR: Webkit encountered an internal error.
Gdk-Message: Error 71 (Protocol error) dispatching to Wayland display.
As well as:
ERROR: Webkit encountered an internal error. This is a WebKit bug.

Important: The AUR version works perfectly under the same system, the issue only affects the flatpak version.

Steps to reproduce

1. Install Modrinth App from flathub
2. Run: flatpak run com.modrinth.ModrinthApp
3. The application crashes immediately with the errors described above.

Expected behavior

It launches with no errors.

Additional context

Occurs consistently on every launch.

One workaround seems to be to run this command for launching:
WEBKIT_DISABLE_DMABUF_RENDERER=1 flatpak run com.modrinth.ModrinthApp

In general this could be an upstream issue with tauri: tauri-apps/tauri#9394

Running WEBKIT_DISABLE_DMABUF_RENDERER=1 flatpak run com.modrinth.ModrinthApp results in an immediate crash with the following output:

thread 'main' panicked at .../tao-0.34.3/src/platform_impl/linux/event_loop.rs:218:53:
Failed to initialize gtk backend!: BoolError { message: "Failed to initialize GTK" }

The application won't start.

same error 71 for the flatpak version from flathub on bazzite, also on 0.10.30, but running WEBKIT_DISABLE_DMABUF_RENDERER=1 flatpak run com.modrinth.ModrinthApp works.
