#7531 breaks dtts tests
Lots of them: https://rcdata.nau.edu/genomic-ml/data.table-revdeps/analyze/2026-03-02/dtts.txt
this is expected since this is mentioned under breaking changes in NEWS, so the fix should be in dtts.
